Food excellent, drinks perfect, nice ambiance and seemed to very popular... unseasonably warm on day I went ...very stuffy inside... not easy to find as they have sign to direct you to neighborhood.. but lacked a second sign to direct you down the side street (My GPS did not find either). Overall... glad we were able to find it and enjoyed
Lighting: Extremely dim, used flashlight to read menu
Food: Not great. The hangar steak was a little under-done and smothered in the demi-glaze, you got more glaze than steak flavor. The scallops dish only comes with 4. The crab cakes were pretty good, but had a lot of filler. However, the fish and chips were a slam dunk and a serious bang for your buck option.
Loved that almost all the seating was either outside or made to feel as if you were outside by the walls all being open. It is right out on the docks, surrounded by boats. My husband had a Caesar salad w/salmon and he said it was very fresh and delicious. I had the buttery lobster roll. Very good. Prices were reasonable.
It's a little hard to find (follow the signs and go back in the industrial looking lot) but once you do find it, it's well worth it. Good beers on tap, fresh oysters, and a very tasty lobster roll. Fried oysters came with a very nice presentation and taste. I would definitely return here.
Wait Time: We made reservations and they took us right on time, which was great. Definitely need reservations here in peak season (summer) and weekends.
Food and service was awesome! I had the pleasures of sitting outside watching the sunset while I ate my dinner! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing! Def a place worth checking out! Much more than seafood too!
Noise Level: High. It seems a little bar like on the first floor and the second floor is lofted, so the noise travels up. Very difficult to hear people at the table.
Conclusion: If you're desperate for dinner, it's an option. But the menu is too varied for them to be really great at anything. The outdoor setting, in the summer, might make for a more enjoyable setting though.
Service: Not the best, but certainly not the worst. The waitress checked on us as appropriate and we never had to wait too long for drinks or our food.
