Very well preserved historic house.
It is a piece of history very well preserved. The guided tour helps to understand all the details about how was live then and you can ask your questions as you move along the house. I would start my visit in this house and then go visit the light house.
Amazing home under restoration. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and willing to share what she knew. Most of the house was open to the public and a great view into the past.
Historical home of The man who discovered Antartica set in Stonington, near the water and Borough. House is full of pieces found on the grounds, family pictures, and a display of various members of the family and restoration of the home. Woolworth research library is situated next door with many items of historical significance. Great place for genealogy research and access to primary source material.
